No more BigMacs in Iceland!

The three McDonals on this icy island will close down sometime this weekend. Because the BigMac is now approximately $5.29 in US currency! Very expensive indeed and now they need to raise it to about a buck. This is due to the high import tariffs and the deteriorating currency of krona.

These 10 retialers are gaining strength from those recessions.

With relatively low debt or careful management, these companies were able to satisfy the customers that want to save money. If the economy starts getting better, they may be ahead of the game.

Not everything is bright though, employment rates are still rising and some shopping malls may meet their end like Circuit City or Mervyn's did.

Disney bought Marvel on August 31, 2009.

Let's hope the two universes don't mix together. I'm pretty sure Disney is smart enough not to change their cartoons/comics and what not.
