Some states are lying to their students when it comes to ...

STAR tests. In other words, they're setting the standards too low and Duncan thinks it should be raised. Remember we need to prepare the students with honesty before they go out and explore on their own. Because the USA will depend on them as time goes on.

The Bay Bridge says,"I'm getting too old for this job ...

I need someone to replace my job ... which is the one right next to me!" This week one of the cables fell on the bridge, which increased the amount of traffic. So they have to close it down, repair the damage that has been done, and hopefully reopen the bridge by tomorrow. As you can tell BART will get some decent attention until the bridge is fixed.

An asteroid has crashed on a land mass ...

Which happened on early October. I believe the chance of that happening is about 30%, theoretically. Moving on, it landed on Indonesia and this space rock is one of the biggest objects that crashed on Earth from space since 1994. This asteroid is named 8TA9D69 by NASA. It's common for space objects to named by a code consisting of numbers and letters. There were secret satellites that observed the meteorite, but that won't be released to the public until further notice.

P.S. Sorry that it's not in English, but it gives you a better glimpse on what happened on that day.

Obama makes a solid salute to those who have fall in Afghanistan.

Eighteen proud soldiers past away in Afghanistan and are returned to the USA to be honored by the elites/captains and President Barack Obama. He is planning to send more troops off into combat in the future.

Barck Obama maybe the first president to visit ...

the cities that was once been hit by atomic bombs. He's planning to pay a visit to Tokyo in the next month for two days, just for a stop. By taking a first glance, this sounds like one of the steps for a more peaceful world. However the White House may have said otherwise and some people from the public oppose this decision.

No more BigMacs in Iceland!

The three McDonals on this icy island will close down sometime this weekend. Because the BigMac is now approximately $5.29 in US currency! Very expensive indeed and now they need to raise it to about a buck. This is due to the high import tariffs and the deteriorating currency of krona.

Gas prices are on the rise once again!

The cost of crude oil(as shown to the left) we depend on tremendously is getting higher. Remember when there is less demand for oil, the production goes down, which raises its value, because there's less resources of it!
