On early Febuary, giant squids invaded the coast of California.

Hundreds of giants squids are swimming near the surface of the water not so long ago. So the fishermen decided that this is the opputunity for them to reel in some real cash(i.e. the poor squids that got nabbed by the angerlers). More than 400 squids were caught and some weigh between 20 to 60 pounds. The record was from last September where someone reeled in a 103 lb. jumbo(it was the nickname for this huge 19 1/2-foot long squid).



P.S. They're not really giant squids, because if they were; they would have died going near to the surface of the water.
